Setelah Firefox 4 tersedia dengan berbagai kelebihan dan kekurangannya, akhirnya Firefox 5 pun hadir dengan berbagai kelebihannya, seperti kecepatan browsing dan manajemen tab yang lebih baik.
Terlepas dari semua kelebihannya, ada satu hal yang cukup mengganjal bagi Anda para pengguna Internet Download Manager (IDM), terutama versi sebelum 6.06 beta build 5, Firefox 5 tidak kompatibel dengan add-on IDM 7.2.8. Atau dengan kata lain IDM tidak bisa dipakai di Firefox 5.
Tetapi jangan khawatir, Trigonal menyediakan solusi cara instal Internet Download Manager (IDM) di Firefox 5. Solusinya adalah gunakan add-on IDM 7.3.1 yang akan membuat IDM bisa dipakai di Firefox 5.

Panduan Cara Instal:

Karena ada yang bertanya bagaimana cara instal Internet Download Manager di Firefox 5 (How to Install Internet Download Manager on Firefox 5), Trigonal akan memberikan panduannya :

1. Ekstrak file yang sudah didownload di atas. (file yang sudah diekstrak: idmmzcc 731 [www.denadymu.blogspot.com].xpi)
2.  Buka Firefox 5.
3. Tekan Ctrl + O.
4.  Akan muncul kotak  dialog, arahkan ke file yang sudah diekstrak.
5. Tekan Enter atau Open.
6. Selesai, IDM siap digunakan

Keterangan:
Apabila IDM masih belum bisa digunakan artinya add-on harus diaktifkan secara manual. Silahkan bukan Add-ons Manager dan cari IDM CC 7.3.1, kemudian klik enable disamping add-on itu. Biasanya ada perintah Restart Firefox, silahkan restart firefox Anda. IDM siap disajikan.
